Cyrus Jones 1810 to 1913
Made his great grandchildren believe
You could live to 103
A hundred and three is forever when you’re just a little kid
So, Cyrus Jones live forever

Gravedigger
When you dig my grave
Could you make it shallow
So that I can feel the rain
Gravedigger

Muriel Stonewall 1903 to 1954
She lost both of her babies in the second great war
Now, you should never have to watch your only children lowered in the ground
I mean – you should never have to bury your own babies

Gravedigger
When you dig my grave
Could you make it shallow
So that I can feel the rain
Gravedigger

Ring around the rosey
Pocket full of posey
Ashes to ashes
{Musical intro}
We all fall down

Gravedigger
When you dig my grave
Could you make it shallow
So that I can feel the rain
Oh Gravedigger

Little Mikey Carson ’67 to ’75
He rode his bike like the devil until the day he died
When he grows up he wants to be Mr. Vertigo on the flying trapeze
Oh, 1940 to 1992–

Gravedigger
When you dig my grave
could you make it shallow
So that I can feel the rain
Grave digger
When you dig my grave
Could you make it shallow
So that I can feel the rain
I can feel the rain
I can feel the rain
Gravedigger
When you dig my grave
Could you make it shallow
So that I can feel the rain
Gravedigger

El pacto con los pajaros

21 Noviembre, 2006

Pajarraco baboso …

No me gusta voltear a la camara …

Cosas que me ha dicho Tori Amos …

6 Noviembre, 2006

Tori Amos

“Give me life, give me pain, give me myself again.”

“I know I’m an acquired taste – I’m anchovies. And not everybody wants those hairy little things.”

“Some of the most wonderful people are the ones who don’t fit into boxes.”

Tori Amos

“Sometimes you have to do what you don’t like to get to where you want to be”

“I have so many different personalities in me and I still feel lonely.”

“You know that saying, bad things don’t happen to good people?. That’s a lie.”

Tori Amos

“Sometimes I think you want me to touch you, how can I when you build a great wall around you.”

“I think you have to know who you are. Get to know the monster that lives in your soul, dive deep into your soul and explore it.”

all this time
we wait on this shallow line
for a martyr to save our lives when you can’t.
a warning sign
a lack in reaction time
mixed with a war to fight keeps us here.
the tide is in
it’s time we all learn to swim
these rooftops won’t save our lives and nor did you.
everything’s all right.

nothing’s ok. we’ve been lied to. we’re so frail
you can pray, scream out his name
while they all keep sinking away.

a hope a cure
reminds me this seems absurd to stay
and find who you swore to save, well you can’t
let us in, let us in we can’t find shelter in time.
life is all we have.
cause everything’s alright. just keep on saying…

nothing’s ok. we’ve been lied to. we’re so frail
you can pray, scream out his name
while they all keep sinking.

all this time’s gone by, the taste of revenge.
a blood thirsty grin, it’s all ok.
nothing’s ok.

sing loud – sing louder – sing to feel – sing for everyone
please sing loud – sing louder – sing to heal – sing for everyone

sing for life sing for choices
sing for everyone without voices

sing for…
love – laughter – everyone here and after.
fear – hatred – everyone less than sacred.
life – choices – everyone without voices.
you can pray while they all keep sinking away.

a hero won’t come in time. a martyr won’t save our lives.
he can’t.
